Inside Out!

I love Pixar movies! Love love love them! I still cry every time Toy Story 3 comes on and I may or may not  sometimes recite the lines from UP--when I am alone or something ;) So on the 4th of July we decided to go see Pixar's newest creation Inside Out
Y'all this movie was the cutest, most adorable film that I have seen in a long time! The main character's name was Riley and each little character has it's own personality that is supposed to be a piece of Riley's own personality. Keith and I kept joking that I would be 'Joy' the overly perky super-optimist and he would be 'Anger' the grumpy old man haha!

Pros:
  • The setting of this movie was inside the brain of a little girl it kinda made me think about the voices inside of my own head and how much of a hot mess it was on most days hehe ;)
  • At the end, it showed the voices inside of other people's brains, such as the bus driver for example, which was hilarious!
Cons:
  • Although this was technically a children's movie, I thought it was a little short but then again that could just be because I'm used to sitting through 2+ hours of transformers haha
I loved this movie so much I would give it 5 out of 5 stars. If you haven't already, go see it! Or you could just wait until it comes out on DVD {which is probably in a few weeks since I am so far behind ;)}

And here's one for the road :)

Jurassic World and Carowinds!

Ok so I have a confession- this post has been sitting in my drafts for about a week! So let's just pretend like its last week and not this week :)A couple of weekends ago, Keith and I had quite the adventure. Unfortunately I didn't take hardly ANY pictures because I kept getting that 'your storage is full' message from my phone---even after deleting like 100 pictures! Ugh. Friday night I worked then just hung out around the house. On Saturday, Keith and I went to see:
Ahhh! This movie was so so good! I know I say that about all of the movies we see but this one was ah-mazing. I vaguely recall watching the old Jurassic park movies that came out in the early 90's but to be honest, I don't remember many details. There were a few references to the old movies  and even still I wasn't completely lost. The two main characters were Chris Pratt (eye candy of course) and Bryce Dallas Howard who also starred in my favorite movie of all time, The Help. I absolutely adore her work actress!

Pros:
  • 3D! These movies are THE BEST in 3D. Definently worth the few extra dollars if you ask me.
  • Action and romance--plus, plus
Cons:
Hardly none! Other than the references to the older movies and the movie was super long! So grab some Starbucks or a nap before going :)
I would give this movie 5 out of 5 stars. If you haven't already, go see it!

On Sunday Keith and I decided to tag along with my family for a trip to Carowinds. Both of us were accustomed to going a lot when we were younger but Its been years since we went and it was so much fun ! Since it was so hot we mostly hung out in Boomerang Bay, the water park with all the slides! :)

While in the water park I didnt take any pictures since water and electronics don't mix at all!  Towards the end, we did ride on few of the roller coasters. But by that time, we were hungry and my phone was dying haha! #slackerblogger. I hope y'all are having a good summer! :)

Summer Lovin'

Well summer is officially in full swing around here and we are eating up every minute of it--well trying too at least. We have been sleeping in late, eating plenty of ice cream and soaking up some good old fashion vitamin D!
However
The weather here in SC has be HOT to say the least. We have had 6 consecutive days of 100+ degree temps with more to come. Thats hot even for us considering we usually dont start melting until mid-July. So with that being said, if anyone is reading this in the northern parts of Canada, please feel free to ship us some of your cold (express preferred) so that we can make it to Labor day. Thank you in advance :)

Today I am sharing what I am loving so far this summer:

It's no secret that we love sports around here {even though they can get a little complicated considering SC doesn't even have a pro team but still--we just go with it :) }. So needless to say we were all over the NBA finals. Ah! it was such a good series!!

Reading!
I love love love reading. Last summer I shared some of my favorite reads and this summer I have been finding some pretty awesome books as well. Here are a few of them.

Our very own Lil Peter Cotton Tail has decided to come visit for the summer! More on him later but he's so adoraable! One of the things I love especially about living at home during the summer is the location. It is right outside of Columbia
I recently discovered Gossip Girl on Netflix! It's awesome and full of drama and I love seeing all the cast as they were getting their first starts.

This summer I also started not one but TWO new jobs! As soon as I catch my breath from each of of them I plan to share :)
